Real Estate in GUAM
Skyrocketing prices that occurred as a result of outside investment, primarily
from Japan, have leveled off and prices have been steadily declining. This has
actually helped the local residents and spurred development of affordable housing.
Commercial and tourist-area prices have also declined, so investment in those
areas is again appealing. The market is expected to continue trending downward
as the economy adjusts to the recession affecting Guam's Asian neighbors.
